About Us
Hey! Happy to hear you want to know more about us. We've compiled some information about us below, but feel free to reach out with any questions!
Our Model
At Monetta Collective, we believe that fashion is more than just clothing—it’s a story, a statement, and a reflection of who you are. Our journey began with a mission to breathe new life into preloved garments, reducing waste while crafting unique pieces that stand out. Each item in our collection is thoughtfully upcycled, redesigned, and created with care in our cozy 400 sq ft "studio".
We source our materials from thrift shops, estate sales, and donations, embracing the beauty of imperfections to create bold, innovative designs. From intricate color blocking to imaginative reimagining, every piece tells a story of transformation and creativity.
As a brand, we are committed to sustainability, transparency, and quality. We reuse all of our scrap fabric, prevent clothes from going to the landfill, and believe in slow fashion. Our values drive us to offer ethically crafted, high-end pieces that not only look stunning but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
Thank you for supporting our journey. Whether you’re here to shop or simply explore, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Monetta Collective family.

Vintage Scorecard
Age
In vintage fashion, age isn’t a number—it is the journey each piece has taken. At Monetta, we believe that the years an item has lived through add character, charm, and a unique story that’s worth preserving.
When we say an item is vintage, we’re looking for something that’s at least 20 years old. But it’s more than just time—it’s about understanding the history, the trends, and the craftsmanship of that era. Whether it’s a piece from the 90s that takes you back to the grunge days, or a 70s gem that captures the bohemian spirit, age tells us where a piece fits in the tapestry of fashion history.
For us, each piece is a living memory, a wearable story that connects the past with the present.
Label
The label on an item is a window into the past. It’s where the story begins. At Monetta, we love discovering these details—whether it’s an old “Made in USA” tag, a brand logo that’s no longer in use, or even care instructions that call to another era.
Labels help us ensure that what we’re offering isn’t just stylish, but truly vintage.
Material
Unlike the durable, natural fibers of vintage clothing, many modern fabrics are often synthetic, less breathable, and prone to faster wear and tear, leading to a shorter lifespan and a larger environmental impact.
At Monetta, we carefully select each piece based on its material, ensuring it carries the authenticity and quality that define vintage. Whether it’s the timeless drape of vintage silk or the durability of classic denim, the fabric tells the story of an era.
Construction
Ever notice the craftsmanship in a well-made vintage piece? It’s all in the details—the sturdy zippers, the timeless buttons, and the careful stitching that holds it all together.
At Monetta, we appreciate the art of construction. From durable metal zippers to perfectly aligned buttons and strong, precise stitching, every element plays a part in creating garments that last through the decades. And, face it, clothing construction is just plain cool.
Design
Design is where it all comes together—the fabric, the construction, the details, and the era. It’s the overall aesthetic that makes a vintage piece not just clothing, but an expression of style, culture, and individuality.
At Monetta, we believe that every piece we curate tells a visual story. From bold 70s prints to minimalist 90s cuts, it’s the design that captures the essence of the time and makes these garments timeless treasures.
