Boro-Inspired Turmeric Tee

This studio series tee begins with a reclaimed white cotton T-shirt, naturally worn and then dyed using turmeric to achieve a soft, sun-faded yellow tone with organic variation throughout. The garment is lightly distressed, allowing small holes, thinning fabric, and irregular edges to remain as part of its character rather than being corrected. The front features a hand-sewn boro-inspired patch made from reclaimed denim and textile scraps, stitched with visible running stitches and layered repairs that echo traditional mending practices.
